TESTIMONIALS

THE HUNTERS KITCHEN – From initial idea to completion……Ben stayed with us all the way! Our kitchen extension idea was conceived, we had a vision in our heads but we are total novices – we needed HELP. We found Ben from a web search of Liverpool Architects. From 1st meeting we immediately felt at ease. He shared our vision from day 1. Ben not only produced initial sketches and final detailed drawings, he oversaw planning applications, helped us choose materials and a preferred design, also sourced a short list of builders and a structural engineer. Ben perfectly articulated our options and gave advice on what the finished options would look like. Ben was the perfect ‘middle man’ between us and the builder ensuring the plans were followed to the letter and any decisions taken would not compromise our plan. The project lasted over six months; Ben was always available to ask questions, was always engaged and would respond in a timely manner. He was always enthusiastic, always prompt for meetings and really kept our spirits up and kept us on course. We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen design.  CONCLUSION: Take the stress away and get an architect – in fact get Ben!!

Andrew and Danielle Hunter, Liverpool

“After listening to what we wanted from an extension and how we wanted to use it, Ben created 3 designs. We discussed them all and were amazed at the possibilities that were offered to us within our budget and limited physical space.

The design we opted for was an open plan kitchen/diner/family room that had a grass roof, green credentials and fully folding from floor to ceiling glass doors that covered most of the back of the house.

The process has not been without difficulty, but Ben has been fantastic at supporting us through the paperwork of building regulations and the general order of things. He also helped negotiate details with the builder and has been invaluable to the success of this project.

The final result has been better than we could have imagined because now we have space to breathe. We have an outdoor space that feels indoor even when the doors are closed and it is warm inside but raining out.

The sound of the rain is beautiful on the sloping grass roof and the attention to detail in the design has met our brief perfectly. Now, our house, although small, feels much bigger and after living here 4 years, we can have our family round to eat at a table rather than on knees and a room that is lovely to look at inside and outside.”
